Stirring up trouble

August 30, 2017
Pine Island Eagle

To the editor:

I've had nothing but respect for the N.A.A.C.P. - up until now. They've opened up a can of worms over nothing. It's pure history. Now what would happen if somebody started pulling down statues of Dr. Martin Luther King and defacing his pictures and street signs? I'm sorry to say, they've caused a lot of violence over nothing. We've got enough troubles without someone stirring up more. Give it a rest and get back to normal. Trust in God and all will be good.
